Yes, I want to read another book by this author because Walter Dean Myers is a terrific author. The reason why I say that W.D.M's a terrific author because all of his books are interesting to read for example: Malcolm X was a great book because he told Malcolm's life story that I thought was perfect because many people don't know who is Malcolm X and what did he do to stop slavery. He was like Dr. M.L.K but they both had different goals to complete. Another book that W.D.M's made is Fallen Angels because we did a book talk about the book which a lot of kids in different class had read the book and they all liked it. Walter D. Myers is a great man that write good books for Young kids to read because the book Monster is a great book so far cause is tell me about a young teenager killing somebody and now he on trial and he scared to be on trail because he don't know if he going to win the case or not he scared to be in jail because he's crying at night because some one get beat up everynight if they hear him cry then they going to beat him up the next night.

RRQ 20 What In the book upset you or bothers you? Why?
The Part that upsets me is when they are in war when one of the soldiers get shot and they had to carry him to a medic to and make him get help. I would be scared because if that was me that got shot I would have been screaming be getting shot hurts and I would have been in so much pain.I would be crying beacause I could die from this bullet that's in me.

Dear Walter D. Myers

Hi my name is Germaine I'm writing a letter to you because I read one of your story's from 145 Street its called"Monkey Man". My reaction to the story was that Monkey man is a man that sticks up for himself. My favorite part of the story is when Monkey man was going to fight he wasn't scared to fight but he didn't want to fight so he let the other guy beat him up. They got scared because they heard the cops coming. he brought his grandfather and his godmother to watch him fight. The part in the story that made me think was when Monkey man brought his grandfather to the fight if his grandfather can't fight and its to cold outside for him to be outside. I Know that his godmother is young age probably like 30 or 40 years old standing outside in the cold. I would not let Monkey man fight at all I would told him to stay home and his grandfather should have call the cops.

This Book " Fallen Angles" makes we wonder about what if I was in the army. I couldn't see my family and I had to put my life at wrist every day to fight for my country because I would miss my family to much and I do wanna live I don't want to be worried about my life and think if I'm going to die or not. I would want to join the army but I don't know if I'm up for a challenge like going to the army, I want to go but I'm scared cause I think I'm not coming back. I love the army cause of they guns but I want go if my life depended on it b/c I'm miss my family & friends & everybody that care's about me to much. That to much for me to handle I would love to go but i don't think so.
